Reconnect this Fall at CLC

     I can’t believe that it has been a month already since my hip surgery. My recovery and physical therapy are going well. Thank you everyone for your prayers, cards, meals and visits and to everyone in the congregation who helped with worship, fellowship, centering prayer and all the other tasks that keep CLC going. Special thanks to Pastor David and Pastor Mary Ann for leading worship in my absence and to Pastor Mary Ann and Pastor Chris for being on call for pastoral emergencies.
     Being away from you all for a month gave me flashbacks to the height of the pandemic when we could only meet virtually. I was glad that I was able to stay connected by joining worship online and participating in the book group discussion on zoom, but I was also really happy to be able to join team CLC at the Giants game last Saturday and I am looking forward to seeing you all in person again on Sunday.
     One of the few positive results of the COVID pandemic is that it forced us to figure out new ways of staying connected. I’m hoping that as COVID-19 slowly moves from being a pandemic to being endemic like the flu, everyone will continue to explore all the ways we have of being church together, whether in person or online or both and we will continue to expand our offerings so even more people can connect and reconnect.
